USB debugging

I love Android development for the fact that here some most basic thing like connecting a phone to a computer can just randomly not work. Well, how?

Ok, I've almost come to terms with the fact that without a wire it doesn't work in an indecent percentage of cases, but with a wire how could it break?

TIL there's a whole codelab (and it has a video, for the new generation) on how to connect a device to a phone. And there, of course, everything is described as for preschoolers. There, you see, they say that when connecting to a computer a dialog should appear. And what if it doesn't appear? What to do in such a situation? And in general it doesn't owe anyone anything, of course I already gave permission to connect to this computer.

And there's advice there. Try unplugging the wire and plugging it back in, or try restarting Studio 🔫

I did everything with Studio, did everything with ADB, changed a couple of wires, rebooted macOS. In the end, rebooting the Pixel itself helped. The Pixel, please note, Google's, their own.
