About ChatGPT

As soon as the public API for ChatGPT appeared, I immediately ran and connected it to my Telegram bot, fortunately all the foundation for this was already laid in it. Now it looks like some guy I message on Telegram when I need to create something meaningful. You know, as if I have friends.

The trial API has limitations, and when I use it too actively in a short time, it just responds with an error. After a few you write "please", and get your answer. The feelings are indescribable.

It's also funny how over time and with experience, more and more tasks are found that you want to delegate to it. The hardest part here is actually to even think in this direction. This is what we need to train ourselves to do in the coming years.

Off the top of my head:

  • Come up with 10 tweets with hashtags for use in mocks
  • Punctuate the text...
  • Come up with 10 names for an application that...
  • Throw out options for what to name a module that does...
  • Rewrite this message correctly and without profanity...
  • List the theses from this text...

Even for some really complex question, on average ChatGPT gives some food for thought, which just triggers thoughts already in your head. Almost like a rubber duck, only this one also responds. Could I have imagined this a year ago - probably no.

A rich idea is to add initiative to the bot, so it sometimes starts a conversation on some philosophical topics itself. I'll definitely need to do that.
